I am fortunate
to live on the rugged west coast surrounded by the ocean
and mountains, abundant with Arbutus trees and large rock
outcroppings. Wood firing allows me to capture the essence
of my inspiration, where the colors and textures of rugged
rock are directly reflected on my pots after they emerge
from the wood kiln.
